Ubuntu failed to install correctly on System76+nvidia

Bug description:
A fresh install of natty dailybuild (today, 3rd April 2011) installs.
Once installed and restared the system looks like the attached image.
It showed a black screen through the entire boot, the boot took 2mins
to complete from a flash stick and once finished it not only failed to
load Unity but also failed to load the Ubuntu theme.
See attached logs and such for specific hardware information.
Testing done as part of the Ubuntu Massachusetts Bug Jam.
