Title: [phone-app] calling a non existent number does not show the call in progress screen Status in Ubuntu UX bugs: Fix Committed Status in dialer-app package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: If I try to call a not existent number my operator automatically answer it with a lady saying that "this is not a valid number", and hang up. On the device after call the number "106" the dialer-app shows the "calling.." screen, but I can hear the lady saying that is not a valid number. The app stays on the "calling" screen until my operator hangup the call. Then the app shows the "call end" screen with duration showing "0:00". -------UX comment--------- Desired resolution: Ideally, if the number is not recognised a voice should inform users that the number is not valid. However, the call duration should still be displayed correctly and it is up to the user to hand up the call.
