After that (even if it was unmounted and removed) it becomes impossible: the system goes to suspend briefly (for bout 1 second) but immediately wakes up for no apparent reason. I suspect there's some weird bug in xfce power management - is there a way to disable it alltogether and rely on systemd directly instead?
