You have been subscribed to a public bug: Outgoing calls are badly localized. I presume this is because in english there's just one text "calling", regardless if the call is incoming or outgoing. This works fine for both in english as it can be understood as "someone is calling you" or "you are calling someone".
In german however, this is translated to "ruft an" which works fine for incoming calls, but doesn't work for outgoing calls as this explicitly says "... is calling". The strings for incoming/outgoing calls should be different, with some context for the translator. phablet@ubuntu-phablet:~$ system-image-cli -i current build number: 2 device name: krillin channel: devel alias: ubuntu-touch/vivid last update: 2015-04-14 21:59:09 version version: 2 version ubuntu: 20150413 version device: 20150326-f0c5ba5 version custom: 20150413 ** Affects: dialer-app (Ubuntu) Importance: Low Status: New ** Tags: touch-l10n -- Bad translations for outgoing calls https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1446188 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to dialer-app in Ubuntu. -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~touch-packages Post to : touch-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~touch-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
