Yes. There was an issue with the way powerd or something was managing brightness versus screen state, compared to how android does it, and the issue has been fixed now.

Leaving the phone plugged in to USB will result in the issue recurring significantly less often. After unplugging though, the screen will refuse to come back on, in as few as one attempt. Occasionally, continually pressing the power button again and again, will result in a flash of light from the screen and being able to use the phone again… until the screen powers off again. This never happened on image #50 (the previous promoted image), and the screen worked completely reliably in that build.
