seem you are using old version of alsa driver
new version won't create three input sources when there is mic and
internal mic (auto mic selection)

system goes into power save mode on AC,
resuming from login screen
keboard unmute does not unmute alsa control SPEAKER
master, PCM will unmute.
power save mode adds undesired MUTE of alsa's speaker
