Bug description:
Hi,
this problem occured the first time after uprading to 13.4. Startup
and login seem to work fine, but after a couple of seconds the Unity
dock (the icon bar on the left), top bar (the one on the top of the
screen with clock, username, ...) and the title bar of each program
(one on the top when not maximized with the three buttons "close",
"maximise", "minimise") disappear.
I found a way to deal with this:
1. ctrl+alt+f1
2. login
3. command "unity"
4. command "dconf reset -f /org/compiz/"
5. ctrl+alt+f7 to go back to desktop session
6. ctrl+alt+del to logout
7. login
Its a bit annoying to apply this everytime :-)
