Public bug reported: This bug might either be in kernel or initramfs-tools.
With kernel linux-image-extra-3.13.0-36-generic (and previous) I cannot verify the issue, but all other subsequent versions, and also latest linux-image-extra-3.13.0-44-generic are affected by this issue. Basically the hid-logitech-dj (and hid and hid-generic) are missing and this makes the keyboard impossible to use in any initramfs program. I have tried to force the usage of this module, but even with modprobe it fails for unknown reasons.
