Doing this requires the packages nghttp3 and ngtcp2 to each be promoted to "main", as they are both in "universe".
This requires an MIR for both of those packages. In Ubuntu, we currently build curl with --without-ngtcp2 and --without-nghttp3 (differing from Debian), which results in output like: $ curl -v --http3-only -s -S https://www.google.com curl: option --http3-only: the installed libcurl version does not support this curl: try 'curl --help' or 'curl --manual' for more information ** Changed in: curl (Ubuntu) Status: New => Triaged ** Changed in: curl (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => Wishlist ** Also affects: nghttp3 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to curl in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2122387 Title: add http3 non experimantal for curl Status in curl package in Ubuntu: Triaged Status in nghttp3 package in Ubuntu: Triaged Status in ngtcp2 package in Ubuntu: Triaged Bug description: I want to add http3 to curl non experimental way with ngtcp2. I already create here a feature request in question, but I was told to open a bug report for that. https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/curl/+question/822208 Also please don't do the mistake that debian did and add http3 experimental way. https://github.com/curl/curl/issues/18336#issuecomment-3255324250 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/curl/+bug/2122387/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~touch-packages Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~touch-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
