Thanks for the MR! This mostly looks reasonable, but a few things need to happen before this can be sponsored for jammy:
1. The description of the bug needs to be updated to include the SRU template [1]. 2. Once the SRU template is in place, please subscribe "ubuntu-sponsors" to the bug to add this bug to the sponsorship report. 3. Minor nitpick: you can remove "Forwarded: no" from the DEP-3 headers; the "Origin" already explains that the patch comes from upstream. 4. Another nitpick: "Origin" should probably have the "backport" prefix rather than "upstream" as a cursory glance at the patch shows it isn't *quite* the same as the upstream commit. Were the changes made to make the patch compatible with the older version? If the changes were made purely for appearance / cosmetic purposes, please undo them -- it makes review simpler if the patch is verbatim [1]: https://documentation.ubuntu.com/sru/en/latest/reference/bug-template/#reference-sru-bug-template -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to cyrus-sasl2 in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/827151 Title: Annoying log message "DIGEST-MD5 common mech free" Status in Cyrus-sasl2: Fix Released Status in cyrus-sasl2 package in Ubuntu: Fix Released Status in cyrus-sasl2 source package in Trusty: Won't Fix Status in cyrus-sasl2 source package in Xenial: Won't Fix Status in cyrus-sasl2 source package in Yakkety: Fix Released Status in cyrus-sasl2 source package in Focal: Won't Fix Status in cyrus-sasl2 source package in Impish: Won't Fix Status in cyrus-sasl2 source package in Jammy: Triaged Status in cyrus-sasl2 package in Debian: Fix Released Bug description: I recently updated the libsasl2-modules to 2.1.24~rc1.dfsg1+cvs2011-05-23-4ubuntu1 in oneiric.
