Title:
inability to enter certain craters in passwords when logging in.
Status in lightdm package in Ubuntu:
Fix Released
Bug description:
Ubuntu version: 24.04
lightdm:
Installed: (none)
Candidate: 1.30.0-0ubuntu14
Version table :
1.30.0-0ubuntu14 500
500 http://be.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu noble/universe amd64 Packages
After starting Ubuntu, I wanted to connect to my account (let's say my
password is: Oppö1568). The normal behavior would be to enter my password and
log in.
But it's impossible to enter the character ö (this also applies to
craters with ^: ê, â, ô, ...) instead of my password I have : Oppo1568
. (Please note that this is not a keyboard configuration problem. The
problem of no longer being able to type the characters: ê, â, ô, ö, ë
, ä, ... arrived with the Ubuntu update 24.04.
