Thank you for your suggestions. It sounds like you are still using Ubuntu 22.04. Ans: Yes, logs which we sent from Ubuntu 22.04, also we have verified in 24.04 same error we are getting from GNOME.

Something has gone wrong" error when attempting to launch GNOME. We also did try to remove standard mesa 24.2.8 and bring in our mesa 22.3.5, but still gnome session itself is removed. We will revisit the Mesa installation process and try again from that side, and we’ll keep you updated on the status. For option (b), Current support from imagination is only available with Mesa 22.3.5, So i am not sure if the PVR support can be incorporated with Mesa 24.2.8 on Ubuntu 24.04, however we still give it a try. Please do suggest us on these, as we will continued to keep working on this. Initially, we tested this on Ubuntu 22.04 LTS, but after receiving suggestions from the GNOME forum, we decided to switch to Ubuntu 24.04 LTS. Since upgrading, we’ve noticed significant improvements, and GNOME is running more smoothly than expected. However, the graphics configuration still shows “Software Rendering” instead of utilising hardware acceleration. Despite configuring the Imagination GPU, we are unable to enable hardware acceleration for GNOME, which is impacting 3D rendering performance. Please find the below EGL logs details for Imagination GPU as below: OpenGL ES profile vendor: Imagination Technologies OpenGL ES profile renderer: PowerVR Rogue GE8300 OpenGL ES profile version: OpenGL ES 3.2 OpenGL ES profile shading language version: OpenGL ES GLSL ES 3.20 OpenGL ES profile extensions: After several attempts and experiments running GPU computing tests, such as OpenCL tests on the Imagination GPU, an issue arises when attempting to execute 3D programs[opengles], as they are being executed on the CPU instead of the imagination GPU.
