Public bug reported:

My headphones aren't being detected, and don't work at all on my Dell
laptop. My Ubuntu version is 24.04.2 LTS. I plug in my headphones and it
should automatically detect and start using them.

Instead, my computer does not detect headphones. I know that this is a
Linux problem because I can boot to Windows and my headphones work
great.

I've checked to make sure pulse and alsamixer work, and they seem to.
