Bug description:
When merging bash 5.2.37-1.1 from Debian, it FTBFS on all
  architectures.

This is a known RC bug in Debian, as well, with the exact same error.

We will need another Debian merge with the fix. Adding rls-pp-incoming
in case someone on Foundations is intimately familiar with this and
has an easy fix, but it's likely that the fix will come first.
