Thanks you! ** Bug watch added: github.com/canonical/Ubuntu-Sans-fonts/issues #117 https://github.com/canonical/Ubuntu-Sans-fonts/issues/117 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to fontconfig in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2102174 Title: Some Simplified Chinese characters are displayed in their variant (Japanese) forms Status in fontconfig package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: Simplified Chinese characters like “复” and “门” are displayed in their variant (Japanese) forms. This issue is caused by the default font configuration (fontconfig) in Ubuntu, where the language priority in the configuration file places Noto Sans CJK JP (marked in red) before Noto Sans CJK SC (marked in an oval). As a result, the system prioritizes the JP font when rendering text. Solution: Modify the configuration file /etc/fonts/conf.d/64-language- selector-prefer.conf to adjust the priority.
