Public bug reported: Happened during package upgrade performed by Software Updater gui applet. My *guess* is that it crashed because it wasn't equipped to handle a custom user avahi-daemon.conf (I have use-ipv4 and use-ipv6 set to no in order to stop network printers from being aggressively added to my printer list).
