A couple of days ago I upgraded Lubuntu (installed it afresh) to 23.10 (Mantic Minotaur). Now the connection is lost every couple of minutes and reestablished again in 3-20 seconds automatically. The same issue with two different internet providers (two different routers). Network manager version as told by command "apt-cache policy network- manager" is 1.44.2-1ubuntu1.2.
