Recently I apt-get upgrade'd it which resulted in new kernel and ramdisk. My initramdisk now does not recognize USB devices. I can see the modules are there (usb-storage uas), and I can load them, but no devices come up, in particular USB storage. I have looked at the recent commits to this package, and I wonder if the following commit may have had something to do, as it is recent and deals with device firmware and resuming devices.. https://git.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/initramfs- tools/commit/?id=3faf13b2b7217c05a20d649b10920f828b3c83c3 I really don't understand what is the process until USB devices are instantiated as /dev/disk/... so I am a bit lost in finding out exactly what is not working.
