The problem has gone away and direct scanout is working. Now I get 60 FPS fullscreen.
I can only imagine direct scanout wasn't being used for some reason because if I disable that then I can synthesise this bug again. But under those circumstances it's really bug 2017097. ** Changed in: glmark2 (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete ** Changed in: mesa (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete ** Changed in: mutter (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to mesa in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2017090 Title: [raspi] glmark2-wayland --fullscreen stutters visually while reporting hundreds of FPS Status in glmark2 package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Status in mesa package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Status in mutter package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: glmark2-wayland --fullscreen stutters visually while reporting hundreds of FPS in the terminal.
