As referenced here: https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=208555#c702 (Newer kernels had a patch that fortunately clarifies that it's a matter of missing _DSD properties) Your laptop is missing the _DSD entries to setup this device. I suggest opening a support ticket. Hopefully with enough pressure, they'll add the entries.
