This issue was exposed by Java Certification Kit running on RHEL 9 on z15+ and impacts all JDK versions (8,11,17, etc.) using system default settings. The JCK failure impacts our ability to certify Java SDKs on this platform/distro. Also, the incorrect alder32 result may cause functional issues to Java applications that depend on the result.
