supported Ubuntu release?

Title:
  Regression bug after ssl update.

Status in openssl package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  After the latest Secure Socket Layer update, my computer  unable to mount 
shares on the from other computers on the network.
  The odd thing is Rythembox will open, and mount the shared music directories  
on the network.  Connection can be established by Using Connect to server ,and 
using the computers names.
