Public bug reported: I'm rolling out a headless webapp server which does *only* unattended security updates.
There are, unfortunately, a lot of security updates, and my immediate reaction on receiving the notification emails is "libtiff5?? Seriously? Why do I care?". I then have to search each update individually to find out what the issue is/was. Wishlist, pretty please: can you cross-reference the relevant USN in the email? Even Microsoft does this (but not unattended, obviously). ** Affects: unattended-upgrades (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: wishlist -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to unattended-upgrades in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1973889 Title: unattended-upgrades report should reference USNs Status in unattended-upgrades package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: I'm rolling out a headless webapp server which does *only* unattended security updates.
