Hello Sebastian, Thank you for taking the time to make this bug report. The error you are encountering shows up through openldap, so marking the bug under openldap is fine. It may be due to multiple sources attempting to free a request. Does this error show up every time you attempt to log in?

With the latest Debian Version and Ubuntu 20.04 i have no error. But with Ubuntu 22.04 i randomly cant login. Syslog show this error: May 12 06:57:55 ingress2 sssd[870590]: sssd_be: ../../../../libraries/libldap/request.c:970: ldap_do_free_request: Assertion `lr->lr_refcnt == 1' failed. If i configured SSSD to use directly our LDAP Server, its working.
