Since this LP bug is already closed as 'Fix Released', I'm afraid to say that we need a separate LP bug on this cherry-pick.
22.04 is already past beta, hence these (minor) changes need to be added post-GA as SRU, which should be possible, since this can be considered as new 'hardware enablement'.
