Where is the rationale for this bug? Where is the design document? Where are the visual designs or wireframes? What happens in the event of failure?
These "bugs" which are just "do this thing" are not at all helpful. I cannot look at this bug and know what is supposed to be implemented exactly. Where does the button go? What are the animations that need to happen? Why does the user even care about any animations? How is the user supposed to use it? What do we show/tell the user when some other process is actively hitting the disk/CPU/etc hard enough to cause any IPC to time out, and the action to fail? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to unity-scope-click in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1367822 Title: [Scopes] Process required to pin a shortcut to the launcher does not fit users mental model Status in Ubuntu UX bugs: Triaged Status in “unity-scope-click” package in Ubuntu: New Status in “unity8” package in Ubuntu: New Status in “unity8” package in Ubuntu RTM: New Bug description: "Add a "Add to Launcher" option to all installed App and Feed (Scope) Dash previews."
