Title: Empathy - Status icon doesn't update the online status Status in GNOME Shell: Expired Status in Unity: New Status in “gnome-shell” package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Status in “unity” package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: When I enter in my session, empathy starts the messenger session but the status icon of gnome-shell remains showing the offline icon (see attached screenshot). If I press the option "Disponible" (Available) in menu and I close the menu, it updates the status icon of gnome-shell.
