Steps to reproduce:
1. Install Ubuntu MATE 21.04
2. Launch MATE Terminal
3. Execute `cat /proc/self/loginuid`
Expected results:
* above command returned 1000
Actual results:
* above command returned 4294967295
Remediation:
* edit /etc/pam.d/lightdm and /etc/pam.d/lightdm-autologin to uncomment
session required pam_loginuid.so
for compatibility with user applications.
