[ Bastian Germann ] * d/copyright: Fix public-domain paragraph (closes: #972495, LP: #610108). -- Colin Watson <cjwat...@debian.org> Sat, 06 Feb 2021 17:48:56 +0000 ** Changed in: base-passwd (Ubuntu) Status: Confirmed => Fix Released -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to base-passwd in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/610108 Title: invalid (formatted) copyright syntax Status in base-passwd package in Ubuntu: Fix Released Bug description: Binary package hint: base-passwd base-passwd source pkg (version 3.5.22 anyway) has a debian copyright file that is not quite valid with respect to the draft specification for formatted copyright files (http://svn.debian.org/wsvn/dep/web/deps/dep5.mdwn). Thus my license parser denotes it as invalid. Why: It asserts a license: "PD" here: " Files: passwd.master, group.master License: PD ... " But it does not provide a link to the (on-disk) PD license nor does it provide the enumerated license text in a free-standing stanza, like this: "\n License: PD (TEXT) " To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/base-passwd/+bug/610108/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~touch-packages Post to : touch-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~touch-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
