same issues happened on my ASUS Zephyrus M. i think it's alc294's problem..... as Ian Choy (iancmx) mentioned, 0x21 set as headphone that laptop could detect the headphone when you plug in, but no sound comes from headphone.... ubunutu 20.04lts
