Title: Screen blank when waking from suspend, have to move mouse to make login screen appear Status in xorg package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: This is basically the same symptom, but from many years ago: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/lightdm/+bug/1431128 To reproduce: 1) Suspend (I do so via the dropdown menu) 2) Turn off display. (Not sure if relevant) 3) Turn on display. (Not sure if relevant, problem occurs even if this step is after #4) 4) Wake from suspend (I do so by pressing a key on the keyboard OR the power button) 5) Screen either stays black or flickers for a second and then goes black 6) Press any key on the keyboard 7) Login screen appears (as if it was in screen-saver/lock mode before) I'm guessing the bug is not very reproducible because you would have noticed it already.
