Thanks for the bug report. It looks like the 'nouveau' kernel driver is crashing on start-up so that's the first thing to investigate, or avoid.
According to the Nvidia web site only version 340 of the official Nvidia driver supports your GPU. Please open the 'Additional Drivers' app and try to install that. ** Package changed: xorg (Ubuntu) => ubuntu ** Changed in: ubuntu Status: New => Incomplete ** Summary changed: - Starting + Starting takes a very long time -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to xorg in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1903448 Title: Starting takes a very long time Status in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: Take very long time ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 20.04 Package: xorg 1:7.7+19ubuntu14 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 5.4.0-52.57-generic 5.4.65 Uname: Linux 5.4.0-52-generic x86_64 .tmp.unity_support_test.0: ApportVersion: 2.20.11-0ubuntu27.11 Architecture: amd64 CasperMD5CheckResult: skip CompizPlugins: No value set for `/apps/compiz-1/general/screen0/options/active_plugins' CompositorRunning: None Date: Sun Nov 8 16:47:36 2020 DistUpgraded: 2020-10-18 17:57:46,055 ERROR got error from PostInstallScript ./xorg_fix_proprietary.py (g-exec-error-quark: Lapsiprosessin “./xorg_fix_proprietary.py” käynnistäminen epäonnistui (Tiedostoa tai hakemistoa ei ole) (8)) DistroCodename: focal DistroVariant: ubuntu GraphicsCard: NVIDIA Corporation G86M [Quadro NVS 135M] [10de:042b] (rev a1) (prog-if 00 [VGA controller]) Subsystem: Dell G86M [Quadro NVS 135M] [1028:01f9] InstallationDate: Installed on 2020-02-17 (264 days ago) InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 14.04.1 LTS "Trusty Tahr" - Release amd64 (20140722.2) MachineType: Dell Inc.
