Public bug reported:

I've had some trouble with sound recently after an update, it won't turn
on. I've tried numerous things: from playing around with alsamixer,
pulseaudio, pavucontrol to alsa force-reload and reinstalling alsamixer
and pulseaudio. No result. It displays everything correctly and seems to
be working, but the sound won't come out. On Windows it works perfectly.
It did work well before, it just turned off unexpectedly.

I have a dual boot Ubuntu 18.04 with Windows 10, maybe that causes the bug.
I think so because I've had some trouble with my wi-fi adapter not found, which
was caused by Windows fast-boot option enabled.

I've asked questions on askubuntu and linux stackexchange, no one knows.
Someone suggested that I need to report a bug, and that's what I'm
doing. I'm attaching link to the question, as I posted some information
there:

https://unix.stackexchange.com/questions/608305/no-sound-on-
ubuntu-18-04-after-a-system-update

I am not sure what I can do now to enable it...
Please help.
