See also bug 1894075. ** Summary changed:
- I use the buttons on the keyboard to adjust sound (F1 mute, F2 decrease, F3 increase). More often than not, I push two to four times until the sound gets to the level I want. Sometimes it gets automatic after I press, and takes it all the way up, or all the way down. I'm not sure if this is a feature or bug but I can't figure out when it will be triggered, thus I end up pumping the music at very loud, uncomfortable levels until I get back my control from panic and decrease the volume to somewhere acceptable. There are times it automatically goes to complete silent from there which is still annoying although not as much as the first one.
