Bug description:
  I was trying to get zynaddsubfx to work in 11.04 and I tried a couple of 
different things and suddenly, I got no sound at all. here is a list of things 
I put into terminal 
  $ sudo apt-get install zynsubaddfx
  $ zynaddsubfx
  $ lsof /dev/dsp* /dev/audio* /dev/mixer* /dev/snd/*   (This one 3 times in a 
row)
  $ zynaddsubfx
  $ sudo zynaddsubfx
  $ jackd
  $ sudo jackd
  $ sudo jackd zynaddsubfx
  $ jackd -d alsa -d hw
  $ start-pulseaudio-x11
  $ aplay -l | grep card
  $ sudo gedit /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf
  (I added this line to the end of the file)  options snd-hda-intel 
model=generic
  $ sudo lsmod | grep snd
