Title:
Logitec Procam 9000 driver produces unusable sound

Status in alsa-driver package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
My Logitech Procam 9000 produces sped up audio that is not
understandable since upgrading to 11.10. It would do this sometimes on
the first Skype call with 11.04, but hanging up and calling again
would fix it. Now it does it all the time, including with the sound
recorder. A microphone plugged into the internal sound card jack does
  not have this problem.
