Public bug reported: When I ran "ubuntu-bug snapd" I got a message stating I have a snap and a deb installed. However, the error message has a typo in it; the words "have" and "a" are switched around. This causes the message to read "You are about to report a bug against the deb package, but you also a have snap published by canonical installed."
The words "a" and "have" are switched up, and "canonical" should have an uppercase C, since it is referring to Canonical, the company behind Ubuntu. This issue occurs whenever you run "ubuntu-bug snapd" ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 20.04 Package: apport 2.20.11-0ubuntu27 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 5.4.0-26.30-generic 5.4.30 Uname: Linux 5.4.0-26-generic x86_64 ApportVersion: 2.20.11-0ubuntu27 Architecture: amd64 CasperMD5CheckResult: skip CurrentDesktop: ubuntu:GNOME Date: Sun Apr 26 15:43:21 2020 InstallationDate: Installed on 2020-04-26 (0 days ago) InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 20.04 LTS "Focal Fossa" - Release amd64 (20200423) PackageArchitecture: all ProcEnviron: TERM=xterm-256color PATH=(custom, no user) XDG_RUNTIME_DIR=<set> LANG=en_US.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: apport UpgradeStatus: No upgrade log present (probably fresh install) ** Affects: apport (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: amd64 apport-bug focal ** Attachment added: "Screenshot from 2020-04-26 15-42-39.png" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1875234/+attachment/5361040/+files/Screenshot%20from%202020-04-26%2015-42-39.png -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to apport in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1875234 Title: Apport typo causes it to say "but you also a have snap" instead of "but you also have a snap" whenever I run ubuntu-bug for a program that has a .deb and a snap on the machine Status in apport package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: When I ran "ubuntu-bug snapd" I got a message stating I have a snap and a deb installed.
