You have been subscribed to a public bug: I have a dual monitor setup, with the external monitor defined as the "primary" one (and the laptop one secondary). When using the Shift + PrtScr shortcut and choosing an area on the external monitor, the screenshot saved in ~/Pictures shows this area but on the _laptop_ screen. (Choosing an area on the laptop screen works OK.)
