Title:
  [1101HA, Realtek ALC269, Speaker, Internal] Underruns, dropouts or
  crackling sound

Status in alsa-driver package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
  Wheither i use banshee, vlc or any other applications, the sound is extremely 
choppy when working at all.
  I updated a few weeks ago, and for a while the sound card wasn't regognize at 
all, so it's not a problem anymore.
  Also there is no sound whatsoever when i turn on and off the computer. The 
whole thing is pretty disconcerting
