Bug description:
Applications that use ALSA seem to freeze and/or have issues with
throttle is they use audio throttling. Specifically emulators, Snes9x
runs at 10% with the ALSA driver and throttling enabled, and
VisualBoyAdvance notices the problem and runs at 200%, changing
throttle manually to the correct speed distorts the sound horribly.
Currently using Ubuntu 10.04, latest alsa package as of current.
