I'll take a look at this when preparing the next release, which should
be in the coming weeks.

Title:
  UFW doesn't support SCTP

Status in ufw package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
It appears that UFW only supports UDP and TCP while I have a need to
  also manage SCTP ports.

As iptables supports SCTP, I have understood that I can edit the rules
by myself under /etc/ufw/, but it would be easier and less error-prone
if UFW supported SCTP directly like TCP and UDP.

I have also heard of DDCP together with SCTP and while I don't think I
will need to touch it, I wonder could UFW support everything that
iptables does and if iptables refuses something, could UFW then refuse
it too? (Sorry about asking two things in one bug report.)

I originally asked about SCTP in
  https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ufw/+question/688017 and
I am not sure how to transfer it into a question.
