Public bug reported: The usual way to find previous commands is ctrl+r and then use the arrow up/down keys. You can exit the search with ctrl+g. One day this stopped working (after an update of the package?). It still works when I don't touch the arrow keys, but when you do, the only way I know to get out is back-deleting the retrieved command.
