Thank you for your bug report, is that still an issue with newer Ubuntu
series? If so could you add your journalctl log from a boot where you
tried to connect?

Title:
Wifi can't connect on Ubuntu Gnome live usb 17.04

Status in network-manager package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
When using Ubuntu Gnome 17.04 live usb my wifi network shows as
available, but when I enter the password it can't connect. I attempted
several times and ensured the password was correct.

Tried using Ubuntu Gnome 16.04 live usb as a comparison and it
  connects without issue.

I know my wifi adapter is supported by linux. I have Xubuntu 16.04
installed on my hard drive and have never had an issue with wifi
  connection.
