  printing two files in a row makes wait for 'getting printer info'

Status in cups package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: gedit

  when printing the first file prints immediately (without that printer status 
is checked).
  when printing a second file while the first is still printing then the 
printer status is checked and users have to wait till they can click to print 
the second file. this is different than in jaunty.
