The printer is network connected and is using brscript3 PPD (attached). When i print to a PDF file and afterwards with okular to the printer everything is o.k.. Downgrading to cups-1.6 from raring fixed the issue (see below). Upgrading to saucy's 1.7 reproduces the problem.
