You have been subscribed to a public bug: After a conversation with tvoss, I understand that if I turn the "Location detection" switch off, effectively GPS will be turned off too.
However, the two switches are independent: I can switch "Location detection" off and the "GPS" switch will stay on. This might be confusing for users: I'd expect both switches to go off when turning "Location detection" off. ** Affects: indicator-location (Ubuntu) Importance: High Assignee: Charles Kerr (charlesk) Status: Confirmed ** Affects: ubuntu-ux Importance: High Assignee: James Mulholland (jamesjosephmulholland) Status: Triaged ** Tags: avengers qa-daily-testing rtm14 touch-2014-10-16 -- GPS switch should be turned off when "Location detection" is off https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1351299 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to indicator-location in Ubuntu. -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~touch-packages Post to : touch-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~touch-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
