  top shows unknown argument when -U is set

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: procps

  With version 1:3.2.8-9ubuntu3 of procps, it appears to have a bug in
  top which it doesn't send a null pointer after the username, so its
  parsing in enviromental information from memory

  This doesn't happen in 10.04 which has procps version:
  1:3.2.8-1ubuntu4

  1) Version:

  Top running but only showing processes from 'mpukgame'

  4) What happened instead:

          top: unknown argument 'T'
  usage:  top -hv | -bcisSH -d delay -n iterations [-u user | -U user] -p pid
