The original bug title was '15:10: bluetoothd reports "Not enough handles to register service" at start', and the original bug description described both the "Not enough free handles to register service" problem and the "Failed to start discovery" problem[1]. Between #47 and #48, the title and description were changed to focus on the "Failed to start discovery" problem.
It seems to me that most of the people in the thread are focused on the "Not enough free handles to register service", and aside from the close message in #48, the only mention of the "Failed to start discovery" problem was in the original description. Perhaps it would be useful to split the "Failed to start discovery" problem off into its own bug and keep this bug focused on "Not enough free handles to register service"? That way the history and relevant log files are all kept in one place, subscribers won't have to subscribe to another bug, and links pointing to this bug for the "Not enough free handles to register service" problem won't need to be updated.
