To reproduce in 11.04: - Login with your account - Start Banshee with and play something - While Banshee plays the music/audiobook... switch to the guest account. Sound will stop playing (which is fine). - in guest account session start Banshee playing some music... It works ok. - Switch back to your own account. Sound will stop playing during switching account. - When back in your account sound is not starting. Which of course is not fine. Also there is no way to activate the sound again for any application. Checking Audio properties, shows no issue. It seems all sound is locked for your account. - Switch back to guest account, log of guest, login back to your account. Sound will work again. This is very annoying when multiple users use the same computer like in my family. Let me know if specific extra information is to be provided for further investigation. Any work around welcome.
