This benefits users by allowing them to use the latest adb and fastboot instead of an old copy. There are a few obsolete binaries that need to be removed to make this happen, because Debian's android-tools is only built for a limited set of supported architectures (not ppc64el or s390x). Please delete these binaries: android-tools-fsutils for ppc64el and s390x ubuntu-device-do for ppc64el ubuntu-device-flash for ppc64el These are listed on update_excuses.html or update_output.txt To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/android-tools/+bug/1699928/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~touch-packages Post to : touch-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~touch-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
